Assumpta is not just a voice coach; she's a visionary committed to unlocking the power of every voice. With a Bachelor's in classical singing and pedagogy, a Master's in opera singing, and 24 years of performance experience, Assumpta brings a wealth of knowledge to The VoiceShop.

Her journey from the opera stages to founding The VoiceShop is as unique as her approach to voice coaching. As an Indian-German soprano, she experienced firsthand the lack of diversity in classical music. This realization, coupled with her extensive work in outreach programs with immigrant and refugee children, ignited her passion for creating a more inclusive and accessible vocal arts scene.

"I believe that every voice deserves to be heard," Assumpta says. "My goal is to use the techniques I've honed in opera to help people from all walks of life discover their vocal power and confidence."

Assumpta's approach is holistic and individualized. Drawing from her 18 years of teaching experience and her background in Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion (DEI), she tailors each session to the unique needs of her clients.
